About John Nicholls

We help organisations grow acquisitively or organically.  We plan exit strategies for entrepreneurs.  We reduce managements’ working day by bringing in a smarter structure, process and culture.  We find out what differentiates an organisation and create organic growth in new applications or new territories such as Eastern Europe.  We typically do all this for small and medium size companies who thought this type of service was out of their reach.

John Nicholls has been in the controls industry for over 25 years and until recently, was the Managing Director of Andover Controls Limited, a subsidiary of Balfour Beatty.  He was responsible for the EMEA region with a staff of more than 200.  John was one of the key members of the Andover Controls US based corporate team which sold Andover Controls worldwide operation for $403M (over 14 x EBIT).  John Nicholls Consultants Limited was formed in 2004 helping the growth of organisations both inside and outside of the controls industry.  John sits on the board of a number of UK and Continental European organisations and is an associate of a number of organisations.  Your comments are always welcome via john@nicholls.com
